Personal message
My name is Leilani Kuter (47) - Gauteng. This year marks 29 years of survival after I was brutally raped and left for dead on 16 September 1992. Speaking up and sharing my story to inspire other victims to live their lives has been a big part of my healing in the wake of this horrifying incident.
On 16th-17th of September 2021, the day I was raped and left for dead in 1992, I walked for 29 hours to raise awareness and funds for GBV. This was my 3rd annual walk, I did 729km in 2019 and 448km in 2020.
The funds raised with this campaign will cover all costs to make all my walks during the year (16 September 2021 - 15 September 2022) possible. Thus far, I have done over 2500km's in dedication walks for other survivors.
The funds will also be used to give free self-defence classes to people in disadvantaged areas during 16-day of activism and after that.
Please continue supporting my campaign. Together we can make the world a safer place for women and children.
