A best friend of mine, Chivonne, has had to deal with the horrible news that her and Paul's little girl has cancer. On the 26th of Nov 2020 they got the results back to confirm that Erin, nearly 3 years old, has Type 4 Neuroblastoma. This is an extremely aggressive childhood cancer. It's spread to her bone marrow - 27 percent and a piece of her liver. She is not eating as the tumour is taking up nearly 85 percent of the space in her tummy. They can't operate yet as it is active and very aggressive.
Erin has had a port (superman plug) inserted to limit all the poking on her small little body.
Dr Tanya Schickerling with her full team of specialists will be doing chemo treatment at the Clinton.
Erin has now lost most of her hair after the first chemo session. With relief a feeding tube was inserted, which luckily Erin did not mind too much. Now she can start getting stronger and fight this monster.
The second round of treatment has gone well although little Erin has been back to hospital many times due to fevers and possible infections.
Good news is that Erin got to spend Christmas with her family at home. Unfortunately she spent the New Year in hospital again.
My dear friend Chivonne is one of a kind! Keeping it simple... she is awesome!
Unfortunately Chivonne will not be able to return to work in the near future and their income is now severely compromised. Erin will need Chivonne’s 24/7 attention for the next couple of months.
Please help me help the people I love by not making money another burden on this new family while fighting for Erin. Let them be able to pay their bills for the next few months.

Baby Erin Medical Cause
A new journey started in the young life of little Erin on the 26th of Nov 2020 when she was diagnosed with Type 4 Neuroblastoma. This is an extremely aggressive childhood cancer and the doctors can't operate yet as it is active and aggressive.
The third round of chemo therapy starts next week, mid January 2021. If round 3 of treatment goes well Erin might go into theater over the next few weeks to have the ‘monster’ removed from her tummy. Little Erin has been in and out of hospital not only for the initial test in Nov 2020 to confirm the diagnosis and the start of chemo treatments (along with blood transfusions) but for the many infections she has survived like a super hero! Erin has very low immunity and these infections are luckily caught early enough to avoid any further complications.
It is her Birthday soon and we pray all goes well until then for her to enjoy her birthday at home.
