A New Hope Dog Rescue

A New Hope Dog Rescue is a small family run dog shelter located in Kliprivier, Midvaal, Gauteng, South Africa. It is headed up by mom, dog lover and passionate rescuer Liv Stirling.

We would really appreciate financial donations to assist with our ongoing monthly operational and vet costs.  With winter creeping in we are in desperate need of blankets to keep our dogs warm and snug. 

RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REHOME.

A New Hope Dog Rescue endeavours to break the mould of a “typical”shelter by providing large, social runs for the dogs in our care and the opportunity for them to be as much a part of a family as possible. Because of our unique set-up most of the dogs are able to experience sleeping inside, many for the first time in their lives. A New Hope Dog Rescue is pro-life and does not euthanize unless the dogs are terminally ill or considered a danger to society – all steps are taken to rehabilitate any dogs in our care and find them homes suitable for their temperament.

WE OFFER SAFETY AND LOVE TO DOGS OF ALL BREEDS, AGES, SHAPES AND SIZES

• We are a no kill shelter ensuring the wellbeing, health and happiness of all the animals that come into our care
• We have happy, warm enclosures that ensure we provide them with the best opportunity for a second chance at the life they deserve
• We aim to make a lasting change to the local communities through education in animal welfare and sterilisation

With very few staff members we are in touch with each and every dog in the shelter on a constant basis.

Sterilisation is considered our most important role and is absolutely non-negotiable for any dog that enters the shelter and we work with some exceptional vets to further this purpose.

We use the following programmes;

• Spay/neuter programs
• Adoption programs
• Retention programs
• Volunteers
• Partnering

Funding is important to maintain the life and vitality of our institution for the benefit of all animals in our care. We need funding from the public, and in order to be operational we rely solely on the support of our community.
