Four Rhodes University students are one step closer to making their idea for addressing food security and energy in a sustainable manner into reality.
The aspiring entrepreneurs behind Afrinzygen, an envisioned company aimed at producing and formulating hydrolytic enzyme(s) cocktails on an industrial scale to help farmers reduce their feed costs, won the campus stage of the Hult Prize challenge ? setting them a step closer to win a $1 million award in seed capital as they will be attending the regional stage of the competition in Nairobi, Kenya, on the 9th of March 2018.
The team is looking for a main sponsorship of R 60 000 for the four membered team’s travel and accommodation expenses to the Regional Finals. Smaller sponsored amounts are also welcome.
