Anna Running For Little Fighters

Anna Running For Little Fighters

Personal message

As a cancer survivor myself, I cannot even begin to imagine how a child can cope with having cancer, going through the treatments and after effects.

I have been blessed with good health, again. And I dedicate this Blessing, to trying to make a small difference in someone’s life with funds raised through my extreme and challenging runs, and to make people aware of childhood cancer.

My charity of choice, the Little Fighters Cancer Trust, is a daily inspiration to me.

My first run, will be an attempt to run for 12 straight hours on Saturday, July 5th, 2014.07.02

Runs to follow, include a 100 kilometre run as well as an attempt to run from Cape Town to Johannesburg, or Johannesburg Cape Town.

I will update on upcoming runs as it comes closer to the time.

The smallest good deed is better than the grandest intentions. In my little way, I am getting up to DO something, instead of just talking about it. I would be so honoured if you support me with a donation toward the Little Fighters Cancer Trust so that we can help them do more of the amazing work they do for children with cancer and their families..

Little Fighters Cancer Trust Logo

The Little Fighters Cancer Trust supports Children with Cancer and their Families.

In cases where there is no family support structure, such as in oncology wards in Children's Homes and Places of Safety, we are often the only line of support which these young Cancer Fighters have.

Our approach to support is holistic, where we look not only at providing practical and financial support, but also concentrate hugely on emotional support and providing relief where needs, in and out of hospital, are concerned.
