Personal message

Applewood staff run4learning

They said that addressing the challenges of Covid-19 will feel more like a marathon than a sprint...
So what do you do when you have a heart as big as an Applewood teacher?

You run! And then... you run some more!

Since team sport practise is tricky for children at the moment due to Covid-19 restrictions, some enthusiastic teachers have decided they would jump right in and hold some space for the kids.

These incredible teachers have pulled on their running shoes and have already covered a distance of 502.37km! And they are still going...

They have launched their very own fundraiser to raise funds towards Covid-19 relief to show their support and solidarity with Applewood families who may be feeling the financial burden of the Covid-19 lockdown.

As they continue to clock up some serious mileage and blow us away with their tireless spirit of community, please support their incredible effort and assist them in achieving their end goal.

Funds raised will go directly to the school. You can follow the school on Facebook here.
