COVID-19 is fast spreading in South Africa. The battle against the virus is predicted to be a long and devastating one, and our most vulnerable children may be at risk; those with rare diseases and disorders, and especially those with very low immune systems.
While Arms of Mercy, under normal circumstances, raise funds and awareness by hosting events and making bracelets; the current restrictions put in place by Government on "essential services" and reducing interpersonal interactions are making this impossible and extremely difficult. We are therefore asking for your support in the form of financial assistance to help our children who are currently depending on additional financial aid. We are totally dependent on the public for donations to help the parents carry the heavy financial burden of providing the necessary ongoing medical care and treatments.
We work for a large number of children who are living with a diagnosis like Primary-Immuno-Deficiency, Chronic Lung Disease (Bronchiectasis), Congenital Central Hypoventilation, Hydrocephalus, Central Core Disease, Heart Defects, Floppy Lung Syndrome, Brain injury, Bone Marrow Defect, Cystic Fibrosis, Severe Congenital Scoliosis, Focal Segmental Glomerular Sclerosis, Smith Lemli Opitz Syndrome, Dandy-Walker Variant Syndrome, Delayed Myelination, Meningitis, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Pierre Robin Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, West syndrome, Mowat-Wilson Syndrome, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Myotonic Dystrophy, Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolaemia, Holoprosencephaly (HPE), VACTERL Association, Sacral Agenesis, Congenital Melanocytic Nevus (CMN) - and the list keeps growing.
To help children in need is our passion and calling. It is our vision and mission to help them and their families carry the ongoing heavy financial burden that comes hand in hand with illness, disease and special needs. Your support will go a long way and give them a shimmer of hope.
If you are making a donation towards a specific child, please remember to include their name as well for reference in the message box.
Thank you for your consideration.

Arms of Mercy is a registered non-profitable charity organisation founded in 2017 by a small team of caring individuals, united by the call to service for children with special needs. It is our vision and mission to provide financial assistance to sick children who need ongoing medical care, emergency surgeries and/or specialized treatments in order to have a better quality life. In today`s economy, very few parents and families can afford this on their own and need all the financial aid they can get, no amount is too small. Reaching our target will mean we can give financial assistance to our children with cerebral palsy, rare diseases and disorders who are currently depending on additional financial help, especially now during this time of crisis.

Arms of Mercy
Arms of Mercy is a registered non-profitable charity organisation founded in 2017 by a small team of caring individuals, united by the call to service for our children.
- Vision: To help sick children in need receive necessary medical care.
- Mission: To provide financial aid to as many children as possible though various not for profit fundraising initiatives.
What We Do
We raise funds for children living with cancer; rare diseases; and special needs though the sale of unique, handmade charm bracelets and other accessory items through our agents and the online store; various fundraisers, events, sponsorships, donations and raffles.
All proceeds are donated towards sick children’s emergency surgeries, ongoing medical care and/or specialised treatment. Many of these therapies and surgeries are not available in South Africa and costs very quickly add up to millions of rands. In today`s economy, very few parents and families can afford this on their own and need all the financial aid they can get, no matter how small.
Supporting Arms of Mercy NPC is an opportunity to help give a child a chance at a better life, and a brighter future!
