Ash Cycling for Home of Hope 2018

Personal message

Hi guys. I’m Ash. I am passionate about people, exercise and using my knowledge as a physio to help empower the people around me.

I rode my first Cape Town Cycle Tour for Sabrina Love. And this year I’ll be cycling for Home of Hope specifically for a little man called Xaviar.

We all need a little love and help from time to time, and these kids deserve nothing less. I’m reminded daily through charity events such as this that sharing truly is caring, and being able to be a part of an initiative such as this is great.

If you feel that you’d like to help contribute towards this cause as well, please do. Size doesn’t matter and every little bit helps.

Thanks guys.

Home of Hope

Home of Hope Logo

Home of Hope was started in 2005, and we are an NPO that cares for abandoned and abused children and children with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD – permanent brain damage caused by pre-natal exposure to alcohol). We are a registered place of safety and we have 19 children in our long term community based foster care.

The organisation also caters for the special educational needs of children suffering from FAS (Foetal Alcohol Syndrome) and neurological challenges, in our Amathemba Learning Centre. There are currently 37 children at our Amathemba Learning Centre.
