Cape Recovery, headed by Simon Turner has joined forces with Breaking Bread Community Development, to fundraise for the children of Salt River that Breaking Bread currently looks after, as well as the addicts in the area that are in need of interventions and rehab. Cape Recovery is looking to sponsor a place in one of the top rehabs as well.
To add to this fundraiser, we're hosing a Karaoke event on the 19th August! Social anxiety is a huge issue for addicts in recovery, and we sometimes need a push to be sociable. Simon Turner will sing the first song to get things going - so get your friends and family involved by donating towards these two wonderful causes, and giving addicts a chance at Recovery.
We welcome any donations, and we can't wait to see you all at the Karaoke Event! Please spread the word to family and friends, and come and check out Breaking Bread every Friday at 4pm on the Village Green in Observatory.
