Changing the World for Children Living with Cancer

Changing the World for Children Living with Cancer

Personal message

Fundraiser page created to raise funds for children living with cancer and their families.

"Each of us are angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another."

When you're going to have a baby, you're all excited, for the life-changing experience of raising a child. Not once do you imagine yourself caring for your ill child, facing the real possibility of losing your most important treasure in life, while fighting financial battles as well.

Leaving families with only one member earning an income, as mom becomes a 24/7 caretaker, medical bills escalate while necessary life-saving essentials are urgently needed.

Immunotherapy, and other optimal treatments and surgeries not available in South Africa add up to millions.

The sad reality is that not all parents have medical aid, and even then, not all the costs are covered. Together with the day-to-day emotional strain and pressure on the whole family they often don’t know how they are going to get through the following day. And, the number of children being diagnosed with this killer disease are increasing each year!

Arms of Mercy is a registered, non-profit charity initiative that raises funds for children with cancer and special needs in South Africa. Funds raised specifically for kids with cancer, are donated towards their emergency surgeries, ongoing medical care and/or specialized treatment.

We need your help, to make a change. Your support will go a long way to assist these families and give them a shimmer of hope... together we can change their world!

Arms of Mercy

Arms of Mercy Logo

Arms of Mercy is a registered non-profitable charity organisation founded in 2017 by a small team of caring individuals, united by the call to service for our children.

  • Vision: To help sick children in need receive necessary medical care.
  • Mission: To provide financial aid to as many children as possible though various not for profit fundraising initiatives.

What We Do

We raise funds for children living with cancer; rare diseases; and special needs though the sale of unique, handmade charm bracelets and other accessory items through our agents and the online store;  various fundraisers, events, sponsorships, donations and raffles.

All proceeds are donated towards sick children’s emergency surgeries, ongoing medical care and/or specialised treatment. Many of these therapies and surgeries are not available in South Africa and costs very quickly add up to millions of rands. In today`s economy, very few parents and families can afford this on their own and need all the financial aid they can get, no matter how small.

Supporting Arms of Mercy NPC is an opportunity to help give a child a chance at a better life, and a brighter future!
