Help Business of Family invected by corona virus

Personal message

Hello everyone!

To begin, I am a disabled person with my own business. I also have a disabled son. We attend events, shows, and festivals over the country with our food truck named ChipStix

Due to the lack of clear direction from our current government is telling people not to attend gatherings yet not forcing closure on spaces such as ours (since they would have to provide financial aid) and the risk of spreading coronavirus further we sadly have no choice but to crowdfund our way through the next few months.

80% of our events are already postponed or canceled up until July which puts us at a huge loss, gatherings of 100 people or less aren't high risk alas we are stuck in a terrible position of not having any business in our usual busiest time of the year!

All shows and events from Monday 22rd March to Tuesday 17th July  have been canceled or moved. We will be reviewing the situation for other shows over the next couple of months and will post continual updates.

The circumstances we are currently in leave things out of our control. We need help to cover our rent and expenses.

We don't take this decision lightly we are always of the mindset ' The Show Must Go on ' but unfortunately due to outside influence it just won't work at this point in time, our venue survives on a thin margin and if we have slim to no events we simply will not survive this situation as there are still significant overheads we need to cover as an independent business whether we open our doors or not.

Anything you donate is appreciated massively, as is your support or sharing of this across social media
