PROMOTE A DRUG-FREE SOCIETY!

Sithuthukisa Bonke Crisis Centre(SBCC) is an outpatient substance abuse NPO 068-474 in Lotus Gardens (Pretoria) with 28 volunteers who are fighting the scourge of drugs through continuous education in schools on daily basis, early prevention(after school and holiday program), mass base presentations in schools, outreach and awareness campaign ( through sports events, meetings,etc) to surrounding communities and where needed. The infected are referred to relevant rehabilitation centers for detox and aftercare, provide family therapy, support groups and counseling to those who need it. We rely on funding to make it possible to reach those that are infected and affected by the use of illicit drugs. The donation will assist to transport beneficiaries, coachers, do campaigns and give a stipend to volunteers whilst we continuously contribute to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual improvement of our society. Together we can promote a drug-free society.

Sithuthukisa Bonke Crisis Centre is a registered organization, founded in 2008 by concerned residents of Lotus Gardens and Atteridgeville. The organization aims to address the increase in drug and alcohol abuse related problems in their communities. The initial services will include care and support to victims, referral to specialists and life skills programs and aftercare.

SBCC is an outpatient centre doing drug and alcohol rehabilitation through referral to inpatient centres, we do individual counselling, support groups, family therapy, continuous education in schools through Ke Moja program, outreach, prevention and awareness campaign to the community and also skills development and computer literacy referrals with the aim of contributing positively to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual improvement of the community at large.
