Feral Cat Assist Heidelberg

Personal message

Feral Cat Assist Heidelberg is a community-based Trap, Neuter and Return project launched to address the plight of feral cats in Heidelberg, GP.
The co-operation and support of the public is essential to the success of such a project and is sustained through contributions towards sterilisation costs and food donations.
Our aim is to maintain an effective TNR program which will ensure population control in feral cat colonies and prevent the birth of more kittens into a harsh and uncertain future.  We also monitor and feed sterilized colonies on a daily basis, trapping and treating cats displaying any sign of illness or injury.  In cases where prognosis is grim and our vet recommends euthanasia, we release them from suffering.  If and when possible, feral kittens are removed, socialized and homed to approved homes, following strict adoption procedures and home-checks.
Please help us continue our work in aid of the shadow cats, to improve their lives, their health and ensure their welfare for years to come.
