Model United Nations for Fez

Personal message

Hi, my name is Fezeka Nzama, I'm 20 years old and I'm from a small town in KZN, called Margate.
Currently, I'm studying Computer Science at the University of Cape Town.

I'm fundraising to be able to attend the Asia World Model United Nations conference in Bali, in November 2019. Having never been out of the country, whilst also being an individual who feels drawn to service, I applied to be part of this model UN conference with the hopes that it would allow me the opportunity to engage deeply with issues that are important to me, and which I want to spend my life working to fix in my country of birth, South Africa. I intend on working in the education field, with the aim of revolutionising the education system in South Africa, and this opportunity would allow me a chance to share ideas with like-minded individuals from all over the world, in the hopes of laying the foundations for the work I want to do.

I need to reach my target by 15 October 2019.

R7000 will be used to pay for registration costs, meals and accommodation for the duration of the conference.
The remaining R15000 would be used to pay for a round trip ticket to Bali and back from King Shaka International Airport.

These donations would allow me an opportunity I would otherwise never have. It would help me build connections with people from across the world, whilst enabling a learning experience like no other for me, which I could come home and share with my community.

Your funds will come to me, allowing me to pay for the conference as well as the flights there and back.
