Fibre Circle Mandela Day

Fibre Circle Mandela Day

Personal message

Thank our informal recyclers, who reclaim 80 – 90% of recyclables on streets & landfills, and show you care this Mandela Day. We hope to provide 1 500 recyclers with carepacks containing a handwashing unit, soap, a cloth mask, a food voucher, children’s activity packs and a blanket.

Help us to make a difference while you stay safe this Mandela Day by donating towards the care packs.

R67 will pay cover one handwashing unit.
R670 will cover two care packs.
R6700 will cover 20 care packs.

In light of the business response to COVID-19, Fibre Circle is assisting with the fundraising for food vouchers for informal waste collectors during and beyond the COVID-19 lockdown as well as handwashing units for households in informal settlements. We would like to appeal to the public to support these initiatives to help us broaden and sustain the reach.
