Gardens Commercial High School - SA Teen Entrepreneur Foundation

Personal message

Through the program offered by SA Teen Entrepreneur Foundation, our school has recently formed our very first High School Entrepreneurs Society and we are appealing for funding for our society for the first year. Our hope is that in the coming years we will be able to sustain the Society through some of the proceeds from our newly formed businesses and other fundraising activities. The investment you will make will change 20-25 lives for good. It will cost R35,000 for us to set up and run our society for one year. The link below shows you how the R35,000 will be used. (insert link to my video). We want you to image each school in South Africa having its own Entrepreneurs Society impacting local lives in the schools and local communities. In this project every rand you invest will go a long way:

R800 – Will train our Champion Teacher to facilitate the program in our school and direct the Entrepreneurs Society

R5,000 – Will enable all 20-25 members of the Society to participate in a “Business Idea Generation workshop”

R10,000 – Will resource our society (Computer, Data projector, stationery, and connectivity etc)

R2,500 – We enable us to brand our society so that all members are visible to the rest of the school and community

R2,500 – We will assist us to fund and capitalise some of the ideas

R10,000 – Will assist SA Teen Entrepreneur to guide, monitor, evaluate, administer and report on impact of our Society

R4,200 – will enable us to host 4 idea generation cafes were we can showcase, present and pitch our ideas to the school, community and funders.
