After years of hard training and dedication I am so honoured to have this opportunity. I will be competing in the U18 K1 and K2 events. I am very privileged to be representing my country and look forward to perform at my best.
The team accommodation is self-funded and I would like to help my parents and pay the £90 per day that it will cost. Doing this will really help relieve the financial strain on my parents, who are sponsering the rest of the trip.
This is an incredible opportunity and I am so excited to be representing South Africa in China! This is one step closer to my dream of becoming a professional in my field.
