School fees for Amy, Thelma and Aluta

School fees for Amy, Thelma and Aluta

Personal message

My name is Walter Gwarada and I live in Port Elizabeth. I am raising funds for my daughters: Amy, Thelma and Aluta.

I went to a poor school as I grew up after my father had passed away and managed to finish school and eventually further my studies to become a tourism guide. I entered the work industry as a 13-year-old during school holidays to finance my education and provide for the family. I did all sorts of manual labour which left my shoulders bruised as a young man.

After that, I vowed that when I grow up I want my children to have a good education.

I have been affording their school fees until recently. The tourism industry has taken a knock in my area and my kids are about to be expelled from school. They attend Harvest Christian School and are performing very well academically.

Education is the future and all I need is help with tuition fees to cover the year.

Your donations will empower my children educationally and for the rest of their lives. My daughters lost their mother in 2014 and were traumatised by the loss. Their mother and my wife of 16 years was highly qualified and had just completed a nursing degree. I want my daughters to realise their mothers dream of higher education.

*Funds raised will go directly to Harvest Christian School*
