Help me reach my dream to help my community

Help me reach my dream to help my community

Personal message

My name is Hamish Bertram (27) and I live in Johannesburg.

I am in need of funding to complete my Dip ECT program. I am in my final year at the Netcare faculty of emergency and critical care college in Midrand.

I, unfortunately, cannot afford to pay for my final year as my father has passed away and my mother is retired. We can no longer pay the tuition.

Being a paramedic is a passion of mine and would like to further my skills so that I can better my community and better the treatment for my patients. I have always wanted to be an advanced life support paramedic, and this is how I will be able to achieve my goal and dreams.

Cost breakdown:
R82 000 for the tuition
R3000 for uniform and extras that the college requires

The impact of the donations will mean that I am able to offer better patient treatment and better my community and pre-hospital healthcare in South Africa. It will put less financial stress on myself and my mother, as we already have financial restraints as it is, and I will be able to support myself and my mother financially if I am able to complete the course.

*Funds raised will go directly to the Netcare faculty of emergency and critical care college*
