Help A Student Graduate

Personal message

Busisiwe Cathrine Seabe is a student leader and activist who has fought and continues to strive for the materialisation of Free Education and Economic Emancipation for All in RSA. She is currently a MA student who is in debt of R100k and thus unable to attend her graduation ceremony or receive certification for academic requirements met at Wits university, let alone degree certificates. She is asking for any assistance in settling this debt so that she may be able to get employment and support her family. She is the second born of three children and was raised by her now deceased grandmother who was a teacher. Busisiwe's grandmother had a very big influence on her thus her dedication and commitment to getting a quality education. She believes in the African proverb that says "It takes a village to raise a child" and adds that "It takes a nation to educate one".

Busisiwe Seabe is a hard working student who has successfully completed her BA and BA Hons degree's at Wits and is awaiting funding to clear her debt so that she can graduate. She writes for various national and international news outlets and encourages anyone to google her and her work. Busisiwe will be the first graduate in her family and believes this will encourage others to strive for excellence through education.

*Funds raised will go directly to the University of the Witwatersrand*
