Help Otto fight IMHA

Personal message

Otto is just your average little "pavement special" breed of dog, although not a pure breed, he is a very special little guy.  He was being given away for free by his previous owners who no longer wanted him, when he was collected, he was handed through the palisade fence, no bowl, blanket, or toy. Just a little brown dog not knowing what curve ball life was throwing him.
His first stop with me was at KFC where he was given some "KFC pops" - he guzzled them down with great gusto.

His name came about - he looked like a little otter - hence Otto. He needed a new name to suit his new life, the old one just didn’t cut it any more.

He is a very sweet little soul, with the most random vocals.  He has recently discovered that tennis balls are for playing, and that it brings great excitement and enthusiasm when the ball is returned to be thrown again.

Otto was diagnosed with an auto -immune anaemia  (Immune-mediated hemolytic anaemia).  He underwent a blood transfusion, and once he is strong enough, he will have an emergency op to remove his spleen which is a contributing factor to the disease. (R6500)

He will also go onto an expensive medication for the rest of his life (Atopica) the remaining funds will go to this. (+- R800 per month)

We would appreciate any help, albeit big or small, every bit helps.
