Help Hospice Continue our Care

Help Hospice Continue our Care

Personal message

Msunduzi Hospice Association is a non-profit Organization - The mission of our organization is to create a centre of excellence which provides and promotes quality of life, dignity in death, and bereavement support for patients and families faced with life-threatening illnesses.

We provide home-based care to patients in most areas within the Msunduzi Municipality and parts of Hilton.

Despite the current pressure caused by the Coronavirus, we are making every effort to ensure that our patients with the greatest need continue to receive care.

Msunduzi Hospice, just like everyone else, is deeply impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our services to the communities are free of charge which means that fundraising plays a vital role in our organisation. One of the ways in which we do this is through various income-generating activities and events throughout the year, One of these being our Annual Easter Fair.

Our Easter Fair brings in approximately R150 000.00 and in light of the Covid-19 pandemic this event has been cancelled. We are appealing to you to help Msunduzi Hospice recover some of the losses this cancellation has caused.

The funds raised through this campaign will ensure that our Quality Hospice Care continues and our patients receive the care they need and deserve.

As a Hospice, we Care for the holistic well-being of our patients, and we ask you to journey with us through these difficult times.

The Msunduzi Hospice Association in Pietermaritzburg is a non-profit Organization - The mission of our organization is to create a center of excellence which provides and promotes quality of life, dignity in death, and bereavement support for patients and families faced with life-threatening illnesses.

Through a team of professional nurses, caregivers, social workers, and memory workers, Hospice provides physical, spiritual and psychosocial care and support to our patients. Our team also provides support to family members affected and who are trying to come to grips with sickness, death and dying.  Our patients and their families are representative of all ages, races, and genders.

We are always seeking creative ways to raise funds to sustain the care that we provide.
