Assist rural women and children with safety & security - SA
We secure a basic home to give women & especially for children a safe place for studies and a good night’s rest for optimal concentration at school. Safety and Education is vital!
Every drop helps however small. With R20,000, we are able to build a basic home for family of 4. Derelict tin shacks are in need of replacement. Since we ventured with this project, we have provided two homes, and saw the need to broaden this project to assist other in dire straits. We are hoping to provide 12 homes annually.

RAM - Rescue Among Many is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 by Carol Bruton and her husband Steven, after realising the dire need for basic resources in the rural parts of the Cape Winelands area.
RAM - Rescue Among Many supports children, elderly and animal shelters in the often forgotten rural towns of Montagu, Ashton and surrounds. They work with ECDs, Farm schools, Old age homes as well as shack elders and street children.
We do soup kitchens & with Covid-19 serving 1000's plus other items to make life comfortable. We issue food parcels and toiletry parcels as donations allow. Housing is often tin shacks and not in a good state. We are hoping to make a difference. We already supplied 5 homes with funds by angels and realized the need was much bigger. Mothers & grandmothers often have to survive derelict homes in addition to food shortage, toiletries and cleaning products.
