Hope For Children

Personal message

Many charities around Kilimanjaro rely on funding that comes from tourists. Sadly with COVID and no tourists, centres such as the Kili Hope Center are in need of much-needed funds. We are asking you to come forward with your donation, small or large as every cent helps. The centre is currently working from a house that they rent and rely on community donations to survive. They cater to children between the ages of 5 and 9 and currently have 98 children that they cater for. The children come from compromised homes, children who are orphans or who live with grandparents who cannot afford education.

It costs $500 a month to clothe feed and educate 98 children, which is just over $5 a day per child. It would be even more ideal if we can raise funds to enable them to buy a piece of land and build a school they can call their own.

Funds raised will go toward helping to clothe feed and educate these children. Our hope is to raise enough money to keep the school going for 2 months.
