Personal message

IYX Africa is a registered non-profit (NPO K2020568411) that offers remote assistance to Indigenous communities in remote and rural
areas of Southern Africa. Our primary focus is to teach sustainable youth development, particularly how to naturally grow food, natural wellness, and utilize their culture to produce a livelihood. We believe in spreading indigenous knowledge to empower indigenous and non-indigenous communities.

To be a catalyst to organizations and schools through enabling innovative edutainment methods, especially food security and
environmental education in remote and rural communities. This improves the livelihood of remote youth and increases their opportunities, skills, and confidence.

We have several core projects, skills development camps and campaigns that will be sustained using the funds received over an extended period.

#IYXMOVE

As IYX Africa the foundation of our work begins on the ground through our remote assistance efforts which allows us to interact and experience communities first hand; their joys and struggles, cultures and environments and allows us insight into possible solutions for a sustainable future.

This passion to provide remote assistance to impoverished communities has sparked a new initiative called #IYXMOVE.

The #IYXMOVE initiative is a mobile hub that will tell stories, ignite fires and document vital information about indigenous communities living throughout South Africa – in both rural and urban locations. The mobile hub will be a moving clinic, classroom, library, cultural centre and sustainable vehicle that will touch base with the indigenous peoples of South Africa located in towns that many have not heard of.

We are hoping to raise funds to begin this MOVEment and we ask for in kind donations towards this moving assistance vehicle (details below).

An empty trailer with the following specifications:

3.0m (L) x 2.4m (W) x 2.0m (H)

40mm Panel with 4 x 600×600 Aluminium windows

Trailer structure fully galvanized

Please be sure to follow our social media in the next few months as we demonstrate the work we do and how important this will be for many South African youth as we MOVE towards a sustainable and equitable future.
