HELP TARGET SHOOTER JAMES GET TO CAPE TOWN

Personal message

James Snell from Berea, is a 16 year old grade 11 pupil and in the target shooting team at Glenwood High school in Durban and will be travelling to Cape Town this September to take part in the SANSSU (South African national Schools Shooting Union) and SAARA (South African Air Rifle Association) SA Championships.

As you know this is a costly trip.

His target shooting accolades include SANSSU KZN colours since 2016 and SAARA provincial colours.

He has been named top and most improved springer shooter, was part of the SANSSU A team achieving gold. Last years SAARA Champs saw James achieve men's 10M Sport Champion of SA.

James achieved gold in the U16 sporter 3P and 10m teams as well as silver in the individual 3P and 10m events.

James prides himself in achieving only the best in his sport.

I would appreciate any assistance you can offer towards James’ costs with regards to his trip.

James Snell:

I am fundraising to help my mom whom I live with. My mom helps me with everything and it is through her that I have managed to achieve where I am in my target shooting career. I know I will make my mom proud if I can obtain assistance to travel to Cape Town for the SANSSU and SAARA SA champs.

My inspiration was when I was interviewed by SuperSport last year when I was announced the SAARA men's SA Champ. What inspires me is my drive to do better at each competition and to beat my existing score.

I am aiming at breaking the SANSSU and SAARA shooting records.
We are hoping to have the funds raised by the end of August 2019.
Funds raised will be used for:
SANSSU entry fee - R 3500
SAARA entry fee - R 350
Bus cost - R 4500
Accommodation 1 week - R 3750
Lunch - R 1500
Pellets - R 1400

I, James Snell am aiming at achieving a position in the top 8 SANSSU shoot off in the finals. I am aiming at achieving my GHS school colours / honours. I am hoping this will assist me in obtaining a part scholarship to UKZN where I would like to study post-school.
Beneficiaries will know that they have helped me obtain my goal in my target shooting sport.

Funds raised and sponsored will be deposited into my mom's account on behalf of myself.
