Personal message

I am Jeanette Lamprecht, Life partner of Jannie.

Jannie lives and went to school in the Westrand since 1972. He was known for his athletics, rugby and wrestling and until a view years ago was coaching the younger ones. Jannie is a loving Father, Husband and always there for his fellow man.

Jannie was diagnosed on the 10th of September 2018 with Leukemia and Bone Marrow Cancer and so his journey starts from one hospital to another one treatment after the other. Before the diagnosis, Jannie was not sick for a day in his life.

After 11 Lumberpunches 1 liver biopsy 4 MRI scans en 9 intense Chemos sessions. Jannie needs a bone marrow transplant but before this can happen we are waiting for medication from America that he has to take for 28 days 24 hours a day (infusion). Both his sisters are an identical match and can donate.

They don't have medical aid and we would have to carry the cost. Jannie hasn't been working since July 2018, his medical aid is exhausted and he worries where the money would come from to pay for his treatment and the medical bills are pouring in.

We appeal to everybody to please open their hearts and donate to the worthy cause. No donation is to small every little bit helps.

The fundraiser is ONLY to pay for his medical treatment and transplant
Ideally, we would like the funds raised by the end September 2019
At the moment stress and worry are getting the better of Jannie, as his life partner I take care of his personal needs etc but cannot cover his medical bills. One pill alone is R1000.00 per month.
The donations will only go for the treatment of Jannie Putter and the donors.

*Funds raised will be transferred into a trust account from where it will be managed*
