Some feedback from our supporters:

“Lovely physical theatre, good story & use of props. Wonderful education of our languages & diverse culture.” – Angela Maxwell audience member The Magic Shell

“It has stirred a great passion in me: a new passion to direct children's shows and help kids with their inner actors. (The course) really grows you as a person as well as your acting skills, theatre making and understanding of kids. This course is for future theatre makers and anyone working with kids.”  – Kelly Spilhaus participant of our Creating Theatre with Children training course

"I have learned how to act and perform in front of people without getting scared, which I could use at school." - Paco (aged 10) participant of our Muizenberg Drama Club

We are PBO registered and able to provide you with a section 18A certifcate for your donation.

Jungle Theatre Company was established as an NPO in 2004 to inspire and empower disadvantaged children & youth to make positive changes in their lives and build a peaceful and vibrant South Africa.

JTC’s professional artistic team from diverse communities draw on South Africa’s cultural heritage and indigenous languages to find connections to the environment and human nature, creating and performing original accessible African children’s theatre shows that bring together music, dance, masks, puppets, clowning and storytelling.
