Khutso & Mthoko Beach Volleyball Campaign

Personal message

Khutso and Mthoko have been playing Volleyball together for years. They have started social media campaigns to get the necessary exposure and local support.

There is an Opportunity for Mthoko to play to play with another South African player, Leo Williams in a few FIVB tournaments. Leo’s beach volleyball partner is currently injured.

Khutso and Mthoko see this as an opportunity to start their own FIVB Beach Volleyball international career. This pair of athletes have shown a sense of passion in their sports as well as bettering themselves as well-rounded athletes and responsible and community up lifters from their respective communities. Their engagement and love for Volleyball motivates them to strive in the face of adversity, especially in achieving great results in the Beach Volleyball competitions.

With challenges they face such as lack of funding, limited training resources and personnel to further their beach Volleyball training this pair has still succeeded and continue to challenge themselves and come out successful.

These athletes have attained several accolades throughout their Volleyball careers indoor and beach. Both athletes have played indoor Volleyball on a national level.

The R 40,000 will be split for Mthoko’s travel with Leo and at least one international tournament with Khutso.
