Moving Mountains:

I decided to use my Kilimanjaro climb as an opportunity to raise funds for my chosen charity, Moving Mountains

All funds raised will go directly to Moving Mountains, a non-profit organization, which relies on funds to provide financial support to cancer patients, who don’t have the financial means to undergo treatment.

The earliest memory I have of cancer, is that it is a killer. I have lost so many people close to me, to this dreaded disease.  A few years back I was diagnosed with stage 1A womb cancer, and grateful that it was found at an early stage of development.  In the last 12 years I had to say goodbye to my Mom and Dad, who both passed away from cancer.  My oldest sister just completed chemotherapy and radiation treatment… Sadly, cancer is a part of my family – whether I want it to be or not.  And what a life changer it can be…  I’ve seen the struggle, the pain, the heartache…

In memory of my Mom and Dad, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2020.  This climb will be my motivation to help those who live with cancer.

To the spouse, the partner, the parent, the child, the brother, the sister, the aunt, the uncle, the cousin and the friend who is currently fighting the battle….. THIS is for you!

Please help me spread awareness about Moving Mountains by sending the following link to your friends and family.

Thank you!
