Hello! We are the Schutte's! We are from Springs, the Johannesburg city.

If you came across this Back-a-buddy fund please be so kind and continue reading. This is our story, We recently started our IVF journey and we really need your help.

We fell in love in 2017, got married in 2019, and immediately started planning our dream family! Little did we know what God had in store for us, and where we would find ourselves 3 years down the line - facing Infertility.

I have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Endometriosis; this is a disorder in which tissue, similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus grows outside of the uterus. I was also diagnosed with adenomyosis; which occurs when the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscular wall of the uterus. In short, the change that we can conceive naturally is 0 percent.

The good news however is that our success rate for IVF is rated at 50-70 percent. (Which is actually quite high) but me being close to my 30's and having these issues causes us to race against my biological clock which makes things a bit tricky.

Like many other couples, one always hears stories about people having to start IVF or couples that face Infertility NEVER does one think that it will happen to you, but then it does and your whole life falls to pieces and time truly stands still. You find yourself in stressful situations, uncomfortable conversations, and barely keeping your head above water.

How can you help us?

Well, for us to ensure that the dream of finally holding our miracle baby comes true, we need donations, prayers, and a lot of support. We are currently at Vitalab in Sandton and our wonderful doctor is Dr.Chris Venter. We are very fortunate to have the chance to be patients at Vitalab, for that we can't thank God enough!

For us to start our IVF journey we have set a donation goal of R60 000 - We know that this is a lot of money but this still doesn't cover the full amount of R125 340-00 payable (We will work hard and save up to be able to afford the complete amount for the IVF procedure).

Your support and Donations will absolutely mean the world to us and we thank you in advance. No donation is too small and EVERY bit will help get us closer to our dream of holding our little miracle.

We appreciate that you took the time to read about our story and please donate, if you can't, please share this with your friends. We would really appreciate it!

Thank you!
