My name is Christina, Kortjass, 25 and I'm from Durban. I'm fundraising for female UNISA students.
I am a final year UNISA student, after Uyinene Mrwetyana's case I've realised how unsafe women are in our country, so I felt like I had to do something to help women in my University that is why I came up with the idea of buying pepper sprays for all UNISA female students. I know that this campaign it's not going to help the whole country but I hope and know that it's gonna make a huge difference, with your help of course.
I have researched that each pepper spray is R80 so am hoping to raise enough for 250 units. So all the money received will be going towards purchasing pepper spray cans.
With your donation, women will be able to protect themselves.
*Funds raised will be transferred directly to the pepper spray supplier.
The #IWillNotBeNext movement aims to protect female students in Universities across South Africa.
Funds raised will be used to purchase and distribute units of pepper spray to women at the Universities who need to be protected from harm
A situation of danger could present itself at any time, and we find it necessary to do our part in making sure that every woman is prepared to defend themselves in a country that cannot protect us.
* Funds raised by this campaign will be transferred directly to the pepper spray supplier.
