Our startup business, No. Land Farming was born out of UCT last year, with the aim of looking to make a difference in the agriculture and tech space in South Africa.
Our concept is a shared-economy platform where fruit trees are planted, grown and harvested on the property of homeowners across Cape Town, with the related food products sold in the marketplace.
Through the use of our mobile application, homeowners are provided with knowledge and advice to be able to produce maximum yield (which we buy back) come end of the season. Homeowners with existing fruit trees can also benefit from the app to help their fruit trees produce maximum yield which we buy back.
We have been selected to present our business at the prestigious event, Pitch@Palace, which takes place in London in April 2018. We are looking to send 2 of our team members to London to pitch our idea. We need to cover our flight and accommodation costs for the duration of our stay there and so we are looking for your support to help us achieve our goal.
