Inspectorate Vehicle Fund

Personal message

For the Lower South Coast SPCA, having safe and reliable vehicles is vital to our services.

Of the four vehicles in the Lower South Coast SPCA fleet, currently, only two are in running order. This puts immense strain on our ability to cover our vast areas of responsibility and perform our much-needed services within the various communities.

Due to the increased workload, the two current vehicles are aging rapidly. We desperately need funds to purchase second-hand bakkies in good condition to restore the Lower South Coast SPCA's vehicle fleet.

Reaching our target will allow us to get more Inspectorate vehicles back on the road to assist with cruelty cases, help more communities with our outreach programmes and assist with stray animals in distress.

The funds raised will allow us to purchase a minimum of 4 second-hand bakkies. The ultimate goal is to procure new or demo vehicles to ensure the longevity of the Inspectorate fleet, allowing us to continue our work safely for years to come.

The Lower South Coast SPCA is the small and large pound for the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality with a fully functioning Veterinary Clinic, Admin Block, Inspectorate Team, and Charity Shops. We are solely funded by the generosity of our community supporters, and without their help, it will simply not be possible to care for all our animals.
