My Family

Personal message

We are a family of 12 people, we were living in Limpopo and December my husband got a job in KZN so we took all our savings and found a house on the internet and paid the house and 2 months in advance so January we come down with just our clothes because the house is furnished.  We come here and the house exists but the owner lives there so we were scammed, I called my sisters and told her she must sell my furniture to a pawn shop next day so we can rent a house we will sleep in the 2 cars for the night, next day we found a house which was furnished and affordable and we took it.

That Monday went to his new work which is 40km from where we found a house. This was a new beginning for us or that is what we thought because when my husband arrived at his new workplace he was told sorry we hired someone else.

We were devastated, we thought maybe we will find something else so we started to look for a school for our children and the nearest school is 50 km from us as 3 of our children have to go to a school which can accommodate children with special needs.

We borrowed money from family members to take children to school then we will wait outside school turn the school comes out so we can go home because did have petrol to drop and collect them at school.

To make a long story short we have suffered so much and finally after 3 months of searching my husband found a job but before he could start lockdown was announced, now he need help we are 3 months behind with rent month end and we know if lockdown is lifted we will be evicted and just when things are falling in place if I can just pay my rent up to date then when the lockdown is lifted my husband will have to work one month before he receives his first paycheck.

Please anyone that can assist us we will truly and highly appreciate it. May God bless you all.

Give us an opportunity on a second chance to try and start over

Will pay the 3 months rent plus the water and electricity and buy food till my husband can get the first paycheck.
