Personal message

There are currently 9 teachers at Masizakhe Community Pre-School, looking after 140 children from 6am to 6pm each week day. Because the school has no government funding, they are battling to feed the children and pay salaries each month. The salaries for 9 teachers are R18,000 per month, and food is another R3000 per month.  Parents pay R150 per child per month but not all parents are able to pay each month, as the school is not in an affluent area. We would love to be able to fund salaries each month, so the school doesn't need to worry about teachers not getting their monthly income. We are thus trying to fund 12 months of salaries with this campaign.
