A child is raped in SA every 3 minutes. Most of them are little girls between 4 and 12. Matla A Bana gives emergency comfort packs to little girls when they report the rape.  These packs contain comfort goods, something to eat and drink and emergency goods like clean underwear.  To report a rape can be a lengthy process - having to tell what happened, having to go an invasive medical examination and facing the rapist. These pack will help them in this extremely traumatic time. 

They need 100 packs per age group in every province each month. 

Help them by making a monthly donation towards a pack. 

The cost of each pack is R255.
 
 
 
This project also create child friendly rooms at police stations and hospitals and train thousands of officers of the law to help children.

We help 30 000 plus children who report rape and sexual crimes against them at the the police.  Our aim is to minimise the secondary abuse the children suffer when the report these crimes. We also reach out to schools and communities to educate children. We work in all the provinces in South Africa.
