Personal message
Funds from this campaign will be used to set up the book club and buy books, stationery and printing costs for the club. It will also be used to provide refreshments for the learners. We need equipment for teaching, including a data projector and a portable projector screen.
These funds will enable us to invest literacy into the lives of the learners. Introducing children to books and reading at a young age will significantly improve their chances of succeeding academically.
Funds will be used for the following:
- Books - R5000
- Printing and Stationary - R1000
- Refreshments per week 6x R250 = R1500
- Data Projector - R3500

Project XXI
The overall aim of ‘Project 21’ is to contribute to eradicating illiteracy in the Eastern Cape Province and South Africa.
We hope to uplift the existing poor reading standards and encourage a love of reading in both adults and children.
