Oliver Ruhl - Tusker Corridor Warrior

Personal message

I love trail running, so when the opportunity came by to enter The Tusker I grabbed it with both hands.

The tusker is a 230 mile or 470 km trail run from Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape to Knysna in the Western Cape.

The route connects the Addo Elephant Park, Baviaans Kloof reserve and the Garden Route National Park, following the footprints of the elephants that once trekked along this route.

Please support me with sponsorship as I am running for a charity, the Addo Corridor Initiative.

We only have one earth, let's all try to make a difference, no matter how small, for our children's sake.

This is a huge challenge, but hey you only live once!

Please support me!!

THE DREAM: The Eden to Addo vision is based on the practical potential within the landscape connecting the Western and Eastern Cape of South Africa. But this vision is guided by a deeper question and dream: What if we could re-establish ancient elephant migration paths across the Cape, what then? What other wildlife will benefit and how would that restore the ecological balance of the region?
