The sobering message behind this global pandemic is that the whole of humanity has been brought to its knees because of animal cruelty.
What is even more shocking is that animals still remain victims in South Africa, and while everything else has slowed down – animal cruelty has continued unabated.
While the rest of the country has been in the safety of their own homes, the NSPCA Inspectors have been operating as an essential service to protect the vulnerable animals in our country.
TO SOME, THE NSPCA IS THE ONLY ESSENTIAL SERVICE. To the animals, they are their doctors, their nurses, their firefighters, their police officers, their therapists, and more often than they would like, they are their only source of compassion and kindness.
TAKE THE ONE-IN-A-MILLION CHALLENGE
There is something heart-warming about being an ordinary person that has a mission to make an extraordinary difference. That is exactly what each and every employee of the NSPCA strives to do every single day. Ordinary people, making extraordinary differences in the lives of animals.
Do YOU as one ordinary individual want to join the team in making extraordinary differences?
Do YOU want to make a valuable change in our country and your community?
Do YOU want to be that ONE-in-a-million person who can raise your hand in pride?
If you answered YES to any of those questions then all you have to do is make a donation (big or small) and challenge your friends to do the same!
Reaching my target will mean that the NSPCA can continue its crucial work in alleviating suffering to and preventing cruelty to ALL animals in South Africa. Not only will this have an impact on the animals, but it will make South Africa a better place.
The funds will go towards the running costs of the NSPCA. This organisation has a strong team of expert inspectors employed that travel around the country to make the world a better place. This comes at a high cost though. Fuel, accommodation, equipment, human resources - a deserving cause.
