My name is Peter Varga, I am a 24 year old male. I currently reside with my mother, autistic sister and my grandmother who has suffered a stroke in 2013.
I have always had the dream of being a paramedic and helping those in need. Every opportunity I have had I have been on an ambulance or doing first aid. I was a first aider at high school since grade 8 all the way through to matric.
I wasn’t able to follow my dream due to finances and various other factors. Life hasn’t been easy but I have had to make do with what I have been given and make the most of it and believe it is time to follow my dream and do what I have always wanted to do.
I have always been great at working under pressure. Being a paramedic has always been my life’s goal and has shown every time I have stepped into an ambulance or assisted a patient with dignity, care and compassion. This is not a career choice but a calling and I believe that I am destined to follow this path in life.
I have always chosen careers and study paths that have related to health and safety and helping those in need. I have started this fundraiser in order to help with my studies to become a paramedic and help save lives as it has always been my calling to help those in need. The money raised from this will go towards the University.
I will need to reach this target by June 2020 in order to fund the first year of studies.
Funds raised will be used for tuition Costs are R90 000 a year, Petrol is R1400 +- a month to and back from university and the rest will be used for daily expenses such as food and medicine for my sister and grandmother.
The donations will be used towards advancing my studies and further helping those in need once I have completed my studies.
The funds will be going to the Netcare Education Faculty Of Emergency and Critical Care.
