Please help Riaan to go to the Over 50s Cricket World Cup

Riaan van de Rheede has been selected to play in the first ever Over 50s Cricket World Cup to be held in Sydney from 19 November t 06 December 2018.

The team will be playing against the following nations; Australia, England, Wales, Canada, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand.

Riaan van de Rheede is a teacher and Head of Sport at Bridge House School in Franschhoek , South Africa in the Western Cape. 

He played cricket from an early day in his life and also at Provincial at school an Tertiary Level (SA Varsities). He was also a 400m specialist in bygone days.

These day’s he’s just pulling muscles because age has caught up with him. He still plays “Golden Oldies Cricket” and is currently taking the new ball for his Club Scorpions CC, in Stellenbosch.

He is also the Chairman of the Club. As a batman he normally bats where it matters the most, THE STING IS IN THE TAIL!!!
