Our small business needs help!

Personal message

Riverman Cabin is a small self-catering accommodation establishment, located in the beautiful valley of Tonteldoos, Limpopo. Our establishment also has a restaurant on-site, as well as a Chapel for small & intimate weddings.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative financial effect on our business, even in the months before the lockdown.  Guests were (understandably) scared to travel, and bookings were being cancelled at an alarming rate.

The restrictions then put on the sale of liquor, meant that our on-site restaurant also saw a decline in profits.
Although by not receiving salaries ourselves and asking Eskom for an extension, we were in a position to pay our employees' full salaries for the month of March, our greatest concern at the moment is that, with bills piling up, we will not be able to do so again at the end of April.

A successful campaign will ensure that not only will we be able to provide some relief for our employees, who are all without their full salaries for the month of April, but ensure that the business stays afloat and does not need to close for good.

With the help of UIF claims and fundraising, we hope to provide employees with as much of their usual salaries as possible.
Secondly, monies raised will be used to pay our electricity bill and re-stock our on-site restaurant's kitchen once we are able to re-open our doors.

Funds raised will be transferred directly into the Riverman Cabin business account from where it will be managed.
