Rock Bottom Project

Rock Bottom Project

Personal message

Funding is needed to pay for the costs of the event.  Any funds funds left over after the event, will be donated to The Goldilocks and The Bear Foundation.

We are raising funds for the following:

Compensation for Speakers
Paint Brushes
Advertising - newspaper, radio, posters, etc.

My inspiration for the campaign is to raise mental health awareness and to bring a message of hope.  To stop the stigma surrounding mental health issues.  There are so many people in South Africa who simply suffer in silence and don't seek help because of the stigma attached to mental health issues.  We hope to change this, one person at a time, by changing the mindset around mental illness.  We believe that taking care of and seeking help for mental health should be no different to seeing a doctor when you're sick.

The event will create mental health awareness, break the stigma and give a message of hope.

The proceeds donated to The Goldilocks and The Bear Foundation will fund the foundation to help their non-profit organization in screening underprivileged children for mental health barriers such as depression and ADHD.
