I have taken up the challenge to run 230 miles (370 km !!), non-stop, from 1 to 5 July 2020 with the aim of raising funds for the Eden to Addo Wildlife Corridor Initiative
I will be running from Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape, through Baviaanskloof Reserve to the Garden Route National Park in the Western Cape, traversing 7 mountain ridges along the way.
The Eden to Addo vision is to restore and protect eco-system functioning and natural bio-diversity, essential in the fight against climate change, by means of natural wildlife corridors between these three reserves.
The Lorax sums it up: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
Please support me and this worthy cause by donating.
Every contribution will be very much appreciated!

Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative

THE DREAM: The Eden to Addo vision is based on the practical potential within the landscape connecting the Western and Eastern Cape of South Africa. But this vision is guided by a deeper question and dream: What if we could re-establish ancient elephant migration paths across the Cape, what then? What other wildlife will benefit and how would that restore the ecological balance of the region?
