Personal message

The Imhoff Snake and Reptile Rehabilitation Centre has been in operation over a period of 20 years. The facility is owned and managed by both Shaun and Tracey Bodington which is situated on the premises at Imhoff farm, on a rental basis. The Centre has been self maintained by both Shaun and Tracey since starting, however, have found that due to economic constraints, this is now proving to be difficult.

We have recently been advised, that due to growth in the valley, our area has been demarcated for  development. The Cape Point Ostrich Farm has extended the invitation for us continue that which do at their premises. We are responsible for the raising of funds for all the the new enclosures, material, equipment and move.

Our facility operates in accordance with the relevant regulations, legislation and permit requirements.
The facility has the platform for the capture and relocation of invasive reptiles, which are either threatened or a threat to the community and its inhabitants.  We offer awareness presentations to various entities, covering safety measures. We celebrate birthday parties offering edutainment and a 3 dimensional in your space experience. We work alongside Rainbow Dreams Trust, offering reptile presentations at a reduced rate.

Our combined experience is vast and would so want to see this passed on. Shaun is responsible for the husbandry side of the centre. His passion for animals is ongoing.  Shortly after teaming up 26 years ago, Tracey was converted, and is now the "brain of the game". That's Me!  My responsibilities are that of business management and administration. I love animals. We have 2 daughters who continually support us in our cause.

We are requesting any form of sponsorship and or donation, which may assist us in continuing that which we do. Our future aspirations include the breeding of endangered animal species.
This is the beginning of our story and hopefully not the end. Visit
