A New Life

Personal message

My name is Shannon Wallace I am raising funds for my son, Sean Pelser. He is 27 years old and currently lives in George, Western Cape.

He has been addicted to drugs for the past 8 years. He is unable to hold down a job for longer than a month and has lost everything including his dignity. The drug use has led him to steal things, and he has been in and out of jail.

He has come to realize that this drug is bigger than him, and that he cannot get off it on his own. He is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and because of this, he has very bad anger issues. This combined with the drug are a deadly combination. He really wants the help of Lions of Judah in order to come clean and lead a normal life again, hold down a job, support himself and be able to make me proud of him again.

The funds will be used for the rehab facility which covers all his accommodation, food, medical as well as psychologists and psychiatrists. This will be for a period of 10 months as there is no easy and short-term fix to break free from addiction.
