Personal message

I’ve been reaching out to, and coordinating support for foreigners (mainly Zimbabweans) who are trapped and jobless in and around Cape Town.

It is incredible the way that the Lord has assisted in this venture.

However a few weeks ago (on 19th June) a really tragic thing happened when a young Zim girl’s baby died very suddenly.
Apparently the baby had been crying more than usual the day before, and the following day in the morning she found that the baby was dead.

Just so awful as she was alone and basically destitute at the time – her husband/boyfriend (have not managed to establish if they were married) abandoned her a while ago.
She struggled for nearly 2 weeks to find the money so that she could bury the child while the body was lying in Tygerberg hospital’s mortuary.

She (and the wonderful Christian family who were trying to assist) asked me to assist with R5,000 but I just don’t have that sort of money as I have been giving all I can already.

In the end she borrowed R4,500 from a “micro lender” … And now the micro-lender is coming after her big time which is adding to her extreme distress and emotional pain.
She is unemployed and there is just no way for her to repay the loan anytime soon.

Sharon borrowed money (R 4,500) in order to bury her baby from a micro-lender. The money lender has been coming after her for her to repay the loan.

She is currently unemployed and even if she were it would take her months to repay this loan along with the interest.
It breaks my heart!

Sharon will be set free from a heavy burden that is on her shoulders!

Repay loan of R4,500 that Sharon borrowed so that she could give her baby a dignified burial.

Sharon needs funds to repay the loan for the funeral.
