“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela
The Knowledge Trust, we have a vision of a world where every person has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. Our mission is to make education more accessible to more people, more often, sustainably.
To commemorate Nelson Mandela's 67-year fight for democracy, The Knowledge Trust aims to enrol 67,000 young South Africans into a 30-day programme to grow their mindset and increase their employability. The programme will be delivered on WhatsApp and the best participants will get access to jobs, leadership, and bursaries.
We're calling on purpose-driven businesses, funders, and individuals to help us create at least 100 new earning and learning experiences for the participants of this programme. Help us #RemoveTheRoadblock that is preventing young people from advancing their careers.
It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a nation to empower a community. In the spirit of Mandela Day, we ask that you contribute to our Mission from as little as R67.
For every R67,000 raised, we can place one young South African on a 12-month programme where they will earn themselves an accredited qualification while getting paid work experience.

The Knowledge Trust
In South Africa, talent is equally distributed but opportunity and access is not.
The Knowledge Trust’s Mission is to make education more accessible, to more people, more often, sustainably. We do this to realize our Vision of a world where everyone, regardless of their circumstances or background, has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
We're an online platform with 350,000+ members and 450+ partners and together, our aim is to break down the educational, financial, and mindset barriers that the youth of South Africa face. Many of the youth are unemployed and disqualified from entering the workforce because they simply aren’t educated, have a fixed mindset, and limited access to opportunities.
Help us, help them!
