Silver Spoon Hospitality Academy Scholarship Fundraiser

Silver Spoon Hospitality Academy Scholarship Fundraiser

Personal message

The campaign aims to raise funds for a scholarship for any individual who has the passion and ability to strive in the hospitality industry, but lacks the funds to do so. We want to give someone a chance to change their live and make something of themselves.

Silver Spoon is affiliated with Chef MLK Cooking School in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is the only school in Namibia that is City and Guilds accredited. The school offers effective practical and theoratical training, and students are sent for apprentinceships country-wide. The principal and owner, Mr Tom Mutavdzic, is a well-known hotelier in Namibia, with over 40 years of experience.

The academy opened it's doors in February 2016 and had their first graduation on the 14th of March 2018.  We are looking to change the way the wider public views hospitality. We train students to be professional, punctual and consistent.
